Most recently, earlier this week, a freelance writer reached out to me via LinkedIn, asking if I would participate in an article she was putting together for Wine Enthusiast. The topic was about nachos and which wines and grape varietals would pair well with them. I thought to myself, "Wow, that's right up my alley!" Considering that not only did I grow up in San Antonio, Texas, enjoying Tex-Mex cuisine, but I also honed my wine knowledge there. And if there's one thing I truly explored, it was the art of finding the perfect wines to complement Tex-Mex flavors.
