I never would have guessed in a million years that the world would care about what I have to say, let alone what I choose to wear. About ten years ago, I figured out that I could streamline my attire by choosing a uniform comprised of items that made me feel comfortable and confident, much like Steve Jobs. I bought multiples of the items I enjoyed wearing—I believe I own somewhere around 40 pairs of black Levi’s jeans with paint splatters on them. It wasn't until years later that I realized this had naturally evolved into a branding strategy. A few years after that, donning a red beanie quickly became a huge part of my brand and the most identifying aspect of my presence, very much like Waldo. This all reached new heights when one of my favorite online retailers, Huckberry, reached out to invite me to collaborate on my very own beanie. After a few months of brainstorming together, we are super proud to announce our new creation:
